Family, Friends, Clients & Customer Relationships

Today I am choosing to address a topic that many of us tend to let fall through the cracks. How important do you think it is to make someone SMILE? I think it is ULTRA important. How many of you can pinpoint the number of times that YOU did something special for someone - anyone! How about if I told you it is more simple than you might think?

We all have to keep up with family and friends birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, get wells, etc. How many of you try to keep up with your customers/clients by saying thank you to them or it was a pleasure to meet you or just send them a quick e-mail? How many times have you had to run to and from the card store - the task involves taking time out of your schedule for commuting; then we stand there while trying to decide exactly which card has the appropriate verbiage, now we need to incorporate our own personal message, address the envelope, purchase postage and finally get to the post office. Your time is valuable and many times the things we want to do or know that we should do get pushed aside or end up on the bottom rung of the ladder of important things to do.

We all have available to us a great system that allows us to not only develop great customer relations but also to maintain our personal individual relationships. Wouldn't you enjoy just sitting at your computer and creating a personal greeting card for someone that is special to you? Not just a nice Hallmark e-mail card but a genuine greeting card delivered by the US Postal Service. How about creating a customized card for the business associate you just met - maybe include his/hers logo on the card? We each have our own individual style and ideas so why not share them and allow others to see a side of us that we don't typically talk about instead of using a "card stores" choice of cards for a specific event.

Up until the time that we started using this system, known as "SendOutCards" we were guilty of not always following up with people. I had a terrible habit of missing special occasions for those that are near and dear to me simply because I neglected or forgot to get to the store to purchase a card. I then found myself resorting to e-cards. Although I was able to create my own verbiage they were still missing the personal touch by allowing someone to actually receive and hold the card in hand. You can even create your cards using your own handwriting font and 95% of the cards Eric and I send out have a personal picture, of some sort, on the front of them. You can allow your creative expression to go wild or should you choose to send a stock card you have the privilege to choose from over 1,500+ ready made cards.

Using this system has created a wonderful new opportunity for us - we meet someone and we always follow up with a personal "It was nice to meet you card". We can specify the event or situation where we met, therefore allowing the person to feel special because we remembered THEM. Another benefit is that if you want to say "Thank You" to someone in a monetary way - you can choose to have a "Gift Card" sent to your recipient in your card. You will find a selection from a variety of sources (Home Depot, Walmart/Restaurants/American Express/Bed Bath & Beyond/etc.) which are available in a number of denominations.

Customer and Individual relationships are what we as people are built on. I know I enjoy sending something to someone just because I want them to SMILE when they go to their mailbox and receive something other than a bill or junk mail.

One of the benefits to this company is that Eric and I have arranged to allow you to personally use the system by offering you the ability to send out a few free cards. Do you know someone that is having a birthday, anniversary or another special event? Have you recently met a new potential business contact that you want to follow up with in a more substantial and memorable way? How about sending yourself a card to see the quality of the product and to see first hand how the envelope looks and the overall presentation of the product.

Just visit our site - sign up for a free gift account and we will call you to help walk you through getting started. A great personal and absolutely first class product. Should you choose you can always e-mail us: Linda or Eric We will always reply to your message personally - no auto responses.

Have a wonderful day and remember that OPTIMISM IS THE LIGHT OF LIFE!

A Vision and/or Dream Board - What is It and Why Should I Have One?

Have you heard about Dream and/or Vision Boards? Well they have been featured on many shows and many seminars that I have attended have incorporated the idea of a Dream Board into their contents. They are simple to make and all the tools you need are poster board and/or a corkboard, and glue and/or push pins. You will also need some magazines and a clear internal vision as to what it is you want. The first step in being successful is knowing what it is you are working towards. Ask you yourself “What are my goals”, “Why am I in business”,“What drives me”, or “Where do I want to be”, etc. We are all in business for a reason – what is yours? There are times when we are in business and we forget the actual reason as to why we are in business or what our goals are because we get distracted with all of the everyday occurrences of running a business not to mention the days when we feel as though we just keep getting rejection after rejection. We need to Stop and Focus on our wants, desires, dreams and remember what it is that is driving you be successful or what is the reason you got into business in the first place. One way to do this is to create a dream/vision board.

ABOUT DREAM BOARDS

A dream board is a visual representation of what we would like to achieve in our life. Similar to goal setting, a dream board takes it to the next level by providing a multi-sensory experience of our goals. The concept is that we attract to us what we think. If we focus on the things we've always wanted in our lives through visualization, then those things will be attracted to us. By having a vision board we can remind ourselves though our visual sensory as to where we are going, what we want, what is driving us, etc. Take for example one of my goals is to have a Harley Davidson bike. I have found a picture of the exact bike that I want, color, style, etc. and put it on my board. I believe in its existence and that it will come to me. When I see other bikes I tell the universe that I can’t wait till I can be riding through the mountains or down a country road. I talk to myself as if I have it – it is going to be! You must believe with the core of your being. Don’t tell yourself “I hope that one day….” or “I wish I could have one but …” just tell yourself you will own one and be thankful for the day that you will receive it!

HOW TO CREATE ONE

You can create your dream board in a number of ways. One of the most common is to cut pictures out of magazines or print them off the internet and place them onto a background (poster board, cork board, etc). I believe that there is also software that you can get off the internet to help create one. I have also incorporated many words into my board – words such as “Success”, “Helping one Another”, “Financial Independence”, “The Destination is not as important as The Journey”, “Remember to Dream”, “Dance Like No one is Watching”, “Someday starts with today”, etc. These words help me to focus on what and who I am and help to remind me as well as the pictures I have placed on my board.

WHAT TO PUT ON YOUR BOARD

Your dream board should contain images of the things that you want in your life. For example, if you want to take a trip to Alaska - you may decide to place a picture of Alaska on your board, are you looking for a specific automobile – well design it online and print a picture of it and place that on your board, how about a boat? The thoughts and/or dreams are endless but remember they are your own dreams and you own them. Create them – the power of the mind in believing is a powerful tool.
Your board should create the five main areas in your life: Financial, Spiritual, Relationships, Physical, and Intellectual. It is a daily ongoing work in progress. As more things come to mind – add them to your board and you may want to remove the images of things as you achieve them. Personally I keep the images of what I have achieved but place them on another board to remind me of what it is I have received and achieved.

WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR BOARD

You want to hang your dream board somewhere where you will see it every day at least once. Make sure you use it, otherwise it is a waste of time and effort. Just take a few minutes out of your day to focus on the images on your board. Personally I take a few minutes out of my morning and my evening to look over my board – I find it a positive way to begin and end each day. Some days when I am getting a bit down and out I will stop and look at my board to remind me of why it is I am in business. Think about what your life will be like when you achieve all of these things and how thankful you will be to have received such wonderful gifts from the universe. To me being Thankful is a crucial step in our receiving. Think about how much better you life is because of all of these things. Visualization and Belief is what it takes.
Have fun when you go through this exercise. Use it in conjunction with a wall of gratitude and a vision statement and see what results you get.

Rules of Attraction - How to Attract abundance in your life!

This is a great article that I enjoyed reading. Although I do my best to incorporate the Laws of Attraction into my life on a daily basis - every now and then I feel as though we all need a bit of reinforcement.

It's as if Brett was born under a lucky star - and considering the fortune that fills his life, it sure is one heck of a lucky star! He has a good family, a wonderful set of friends, a stable and well-paid job and killer looks. He has everything that anyone would die for just to have. Ladies admire him and gentlemen want to be like him. But Brett's fortune isn't because of astrology or anything of the sort. He says that his secret lies in knowing the rules of attraction. When he told me about it, I initially thought that it was a hoax - especially when he told me that such rules of attraction could impact an individual's overall life. But when he explained to me the following principles underlying the rules of attraction, I was convinced that he wasn't just pulling my leg.

• We create our own reality. We attract to ourselves what we want and what we do not want through our thoughts and feelings. If we focus on hating our jobs, we will fail to see the satisfying point of our employment ergo we won't have a happy work life.

• Be wary of having the not enough disposition. If we dwell on what we do not have or if we are too focus on the idea that what we have is too meager, it really won't matter if we have a million bucks attached to our names, for us it will still be not enough. When we always think about the things in life that we are lacking, we end up creating a less than reality even when we should really be happy with the abundance that we have been given.

• The secret is to use the power of affirmation. If we get rid of the I-feel-sorry-for-myself mantra and do away with all those negative phrases that infest the human mind, we can attract good things. We must remember to break the habit of attracting whatever is negative which we unintentionally invite to our lives through our negative thinking.

• Evaluate. We should ask ourselves about what we really want and then gear our actions towards that.

• Believe. We should push doubt out of our lives by having faith that what we want can and will become ours.

• Receive and act. We should grab every opportunity that will take us a step closer to our goals.

Yes we can attract abundance in our lives - it is just a matter of knowledge coupled with the right attitude. The rules of attraction simply tell us that life is what we make it. Our choices and our mindset draw the line between success and failure. Furthermore, the rules of attraction remind us of the power of staying positive - a difficult task for anyone who gets easily discouraged when faced with failure and disappointment. But let us keep in mind that we have the power to attract abundance - so long as we know what we want, believe that we can get it and strive for it.
